The one thing that tends to be missing from the PRS lineup, outside of signature models, is versions with a less 'vintagey' aesthetic aimed at the modern metal/rock player.

The new line looks freakin' A but I'm really stoked by the return of the more traditional McCarty stylings. Don't get me wrong I love my 2015 McCarty but my 2001 McCarty with the more vintage appointments just feels classier - wouldn't mind a set of 58/15LT's for either guitar though.

The neck and bridge pickups are more balanced than before.
