The Sound of Honda - Ayrton Senna 1989

Likewise. The last movie I saw in a theater was "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?", but I am hoping to be able to go see "Rush" when it comes out. I've always been a big Niki Lauda fan. Nigel too!

I have loved F1 since I was small. I thought 'Senna' was excellent, lots of insight and quite moving. 'Rush' is on the 'must see' list.

Also interesting how the Mercedes GP team are doing so well with Lauda taking an active role in the team.

Some world events will stay with people through out their life time, for some it is the assassination of JFK, or the attacks on the Twin towers, although those events shaped the world to what it is today and many would say incomparable for me it will always be the weekend that Senna and Ratzenberger lost their lives, firstly I was a huge Senna fan, and also a fan of the Williams team (I had two job interviews there but never quite cut it) Secondly I had a great interest to see how Hill did against Senna in relation to his previous season with Prost.

I had also been following Ratzenberger's season as I remember seeing him on a kids tv show as a rookie in formula ford some years before.

A very sad weekend for anyone who enjoys Motorsport.

RIP Ayrton

Cool vid by the way :-)

I'm looking forward to seeing Rush as well, although I think Ron Howard tends to make some cheesy movies. I hope he doesn't ruin this story.
