Been wondering about this, since there is no manual for this head (that I've been able to find).
Is the solo boost simply a volume boost (ala "serial loop with level control but no pedal acting as a added master volume)?
Or, is in integrated into the preamp section so that it adds both volume and gain?
From the few vids I've seen, I seem to me it is not a gain-boost, but simply a master volume boost?
That might put me of slightly as I like to have a good crunhcy rhythm tone, but add gain to my lead tone
(usually by pushing the front end). Remember trying a 2 Channel H combo with a Suhr KoKo-boost in front
in the mid-mode, sounded stunning! Still, the level boost might be usable to slightly raising certain parts within a song
such as a melody break etc), but then not for an all out "added lead channel" to a 2-channel amp.
