That was a long time ago. It's practically a different world now!
And how! Case in point...
Not an engineer: I’m one of the dummies that came out of a big engineering school without an engineering degree, but ended up teaching engineers how to design custom ICs.
Not a lawyer: written hundreds of contracts (after learning from smart lawyers) and successfully defended in court (with a real lawyer).
Not a doctor: have, however, removed stitches and patched up two boys of my own dozens of times and sewn myself up a few times. Also have horrific hand writing.
Now, I’m a banker.
To all this, I credit owning PRSi. Holiday Inn Express has nothing on them!

Not a Lawyer
Not an Engineer, although I’m going to be one after I retire. (My grandson LOVES that train at the mall).
Not a doctor, although I ask my wife weekly to let me play one. Again, NOT a doctor... she always says no.
