I don't know how serious you folks are, but refinishing a body like this is stupidly easy and cheap, especially compared to doing a set neck carved top core guitar.

My only hesitation on this would be the setup after the refin. Paint is relatively easy but a PRS comes setup so well would want the same level of playability afterwards.
