Well, I meant David Gilmour's "The Black Strat". I'm pretty sure someone has used the nickname "blackie" for it too, but maybe they were just cross-pollinating the Clapton axe nickname.

Honestly Clapton doesn't do much for me. I like him and have a few CDs, but nothing like my respect/adoration I have for Mr Gilmour.

I know some people like to project a bunch of crap onto JM, but after watching this video how can you not like the guy? I'd have a good time hanging out with him and talking about all kinds of stuff not related to guitars.
