Great looking guitar. I LOVE that top. Some unique characteristics. I agree, that while dark, it is a rosewood fretboard. Only a Wood Library version would have an Ebony board, if spec'd that way.
Yes, you are right but for me it's surprising how dark it is and in the seller webpage specs the fretboard was ebony (I'm pretty sure that this is a mistake)

Ebony isn't standard, but there are exceptions out there. It's also normal for Charcoal finish to have a black back, but I've seen several like yours with the natural back. It's too hard to tell from the pics, but the headstock does look very dark.
If you email the serial number to PRS they can give you the specs. Otherwise, if you pull the bridge pickup (take strings off, remove the 4 mounting ring screws, be careful not to bump the bridge), there will be a label at the bottom of the rout with the MODCAT code, which we can help you decode here.

Not unless they have changed it within the last few years. The most info has always been under the bridge pup and that's where the MODCAT has always been as far as I know (Hollowbody models excepted). The neck has its own code label on the tenon.
Well...I bought the guitar three weeks ago. The dealer asked PRS for a letter of authenticity with the specs. They say that the model is a McCarty 594 Ltd Edition. The dealer says that the fretboard is made of ebony..... I don't know. More pictures:

Excited to add a Silver Sky this week. I got a price a new 2019 that I couldn't pass on. I wasn't planning on buying one until later this year, just to space out guitar acquisitions to have things to look forward too but I'm not sure I would get the chance to again at an almost used price.

So hot!It seems like I should add this to the big thread here. I'm a big fan of the 58/15 LT pickups in this guitar. Almost remind me of P90s without all of the noise.

Looks like the fingerboard is indeed ebony, anyway. It’s unusual for there to be so many errors in a MODCAT. Might try a different decoder. Congrats on the guitar!
