The new CE24

This is probably a question for the guys at the factory but figured I'd give it a shot here anyways. Just got one of these beauties in Trampas green. I never played a super high end PRS, my only experience has been with SE models. Loved the SE models and I love this CE even more. Such an awesome sound! Anyway...

I getting ready to change the strings on this guitar as I usually do with anything direct from the factory. Thing is, I really like the sound of the strings this has on it. Anyone know what kind of strings these new CE24s are shipping with?

Cool, thank ya very much. Unfortunately those arent offered at my local guitar stores... Typically I use Super Slinkys or NYXLs. How do you think those stack up with the PRS strings?

They are not quite as bright as a regular set of D'Addario XL110s, and less output than the NYXLs.

FWIW my newer CE24 plays along very nicely with the NYXLs...

That's what I was thinking about using too, When I got my SE they talked me into some NYXLs and I did like them. Might have to spring for them.

I have a PRS set of 10's that I can send you, just PM your address to me. The NYXL will sound good as well, I'm sure. If I remember right the PRS strings are similar to D'Addario Pure Nickels? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

PRS strings are relabeled pure nickel D'Addario strings with a couple of the string gauges .001 off from the standard set.

I put a set of my regular Slinky's on mine. 10s. There hard to beat.
