What is it that shines about the Modern Eagle One? HT or Trem?

Both! I find there is something magical about a BRW neck with a trem.

While I don’t have a ME I hardtail, my Koa Sister is effectively one, just with the all koa body.

A collector reached out to me and let go of his unplayed 2004 ME1 in faded blue jean. I was really happy it was a different color than the other 2 and now the trifecta is complete. The neck on this one is amazing looking!

I played an original ME a few months ago for the first time. It was a pretty serious guitar. I don't know how anyone can own one and then go on to play something else. Everything else would be sh!t in comparison.

Yes, and they are my favorite PRS model. I should have had one made with a BRW neck when I had the chance, but macassar ebony and cocobolo are nice, too. I gig the blue quilt.




No more ME1 sales (until another weak moment). I learned my lesson. ;-)

The SCT one I have with 59/09s is killer - my PS order was specced with 58/15s but I asked for an extra set of covered 59/09s given how great they sound with this wood combo.

I had thought the charcoal one had 57/08s in it but, while it was one of the ones held over because of the CITES mess, it must have already been completed because it has RPs in it.

I am planning putting my \m/ pickups into one of my DC245 private stocks and taking the 59/09s from that and dropping them into one of the MEs. I also have a Tremonti bridge I may put in the singlecut to make a Tremonti ME. I do have a set of 57/08s laying around I may do something with too. Or maybe I just leave them alone because they all sound so great!
