I love quilts!
Update at bottom (Didn't want to start a new post)
Wow did I miss the boat on these things when they were released. I had dismissed any guitar with a rosewood neck after having bought a CU24 with an Indian rosewood neck years ago and I hate the tone of it. However, after picking up a DGT private stock from a forum member with a Ziricote neck and loving the tone and feel from that, I decided to give Brazilian rosewood a shot and man I have been missing out!
These guitars feel so amazing with the neck and the soft finish on the top. Nice worn in feel. And they both sound amazing.
Weight! My lord these things are heavy. The singlecut is 10lbs!! the DC is around 8lbs 13oz.
Anyway, really enjoying these 2 new additions to the family and it is fun rediscovering guitars that were released a while ago.
New ME Day!
A collector reached out to me and let go of his unplayed 2004 ME1 in faded blue jean. I was really happy it was a different color than the other 2 and now the trifecta is complete. The neck on this one is amazing looking!
