So would!

I can't imagine anyone who comfortably has the means to have more than one guitar, having only one. Even a PERFECT one can't do everything.
I have 4 PRS, any one of which I could happily play every day until the end of time. I also have a clear vision of number 5, which isn’t ideal for me to play every day, but it is a joy.

I do have others with their own story and charm.

Whatchu talkin' bout, Willis?

And yet, I have a handful of guitars. I'd like to remedy that if I can figure out a way to fall out of love with all but one.

That that resonates with me Les. The highest number of guitars I have owned simultaneously is 4. One that is played 99% of the time and 2-3 others that hang on the wall. It is something that I have never really overcome, which is a nuisance as not everything I play is in E standard tuning.

I’m gonna say it’s the Myles Kennedy “tele”

I feel the same about my PRS guitars. I WILL happily play them until I'm gone. But none of them, by itself, can do "everything." That is my only motivation for wanting more. Not to collect, to fill in tonal gaps. The Silver Sky filled one that I've tried for years to fill and tonally had covered but didn't love the guitar that covered it. Now I "need" a Les Paul type guitar. I "want" a hollow body. I'd "really like to have" a P90 guitar (and am considering maybe dropping one in the MIra). But yeah, I could take the PRS guitars I already have (and a couple EBMMs and a couple Taylors) and live happily ever after.

And, like you, some of my PRS guitars were gifts from my wife, so they have an extra layer of joy and meaning.

That seems like it'd be a superb guitar.

I rotate mine, largely because I'd feel guilty if I didn't play them all about the same amount.

At least they all sound different from one another. I suppose that's sufficient justification for having the ones I've got, at least until I get this all squared away.
