The McCarty Name?

Hey Folks

Curious as to what the story is with PRS guitars named McCarty. I read somewhere that a Gibson CEO was named McCarty. Anyone here have the skinny? Is it a dig or a tribute?

Totally in tribute. Paul has an immense amount of respect for Ted McCarty.

In the archives video they mention that Ted never had a Les Paul and they ended up giving him one , a vintage SG Les Paul.

Made me respect PRS a whole lot more
