Shawn has taken the time out of his day to bring us "Private Sock Fridays" and answered at least three inane questions I have asked... Time for a thread where we say thanks for his extra effort. Post only things you think Shawn likes,, give thanks and praise... we know some of it's your job,,, but seriously, thank you.

An odd title, this thread; but a sincere and worthy subject. In addition to everything he does here on the board for all of us, Shawn has gone out of his way for me a number of times, and even though we've never laid eyes on one another, I consider him a friend. I have a feeling this thread will be a bit embarrassing and uncomfortable for him, but I think it's a cool idea just the same. Kudos Sergio!

And as far as this forum is concerned, Shawn is the "face " of PRS. Be it our concerns, suggestions or just shooting the bull, the guy is accessible, candid and forthright. And for that, we thank you...

+100 on this thread! As the "face" of PRS on this forum, Shawn has me wanting to spend some money on a PTC project. Not because I need something, but just to have the opportunity to have some quality work done by dedicated people to show my support. Just have to decide on a project.

Shawn spends a tremendous amount of time with this Forum (OFF THE CLOCK) & I thank you for that Shawn. It's not easy putting up with a bunch of Guitar Geeks that are alays asking for this model or why our favorite P-up, Guitar, TRC, or whatever has been discontinued. People b*tching cause they missed the "Free sh*t" GIFT by 2-3 days & saying how unfair it is. I guess I better stop with that subject )). Shawn obviously loves his job, PRS Guitars, & hanging out with Guitar Geeks. Anyway, It would be awesome if everyone could appreciate Shawn for his continued participation & help on the Forum.................. Thanks Shawn :congrats:

I agree wholeheartedly, Mark. Couldn't have said it any better.

And let me add that there are 280 PRS employees who are not allowed to post on this forum. Those guys rely on Shawn to be their voice. That is no easy task.

BTW... Shawn has little tolerance for ass-kissers.

Shawn is one of those guys that make you go "what did I do to deserve a friend like that?" and that's really all I can say. In the guitar world he's the top tier at what he and his department does, but in the person department he's in a category all of his own.
