There's already a "which ones did you say are keepers that you didn't keep" thread. I couldn't even count the ones that I could have listed in that thread. It made me feel lousy to even think about it.

So I'm throwin' down. I'm mannin' up. I have keepers, and gosh darn it, I am determined to keep them. And not only that, I'm gonna make a public commitment!

Well, since I am guilty, on more than one occasion, of letting go of a "Lifetime Keeper", I'll join in. Now that I've seen the light, been exorcised, become somewhat responsible, I hereby declare these to be keepers (don't even have my fingers crossed!)

Bodia appears quite bold declaring a lifetime commitment to a guitar I think he only got his mitts on in the last two weeks.

I declared a keeper in the 'I lied' thread early today. Perhaps it would be more credible in this one.

My Laskin classical - it took me close to 20 years to get it so it isn't going anywhere.

The Ghetto Bass - I've had it for over 40 years already, so I think it's safe to call it a keeper.

This one is easy for me......my Wood Library McCarty. One piece pink quilt top, rosewood neck, Brazzy board, Paul's bridge with the brass inserts, currently has a JB in the bridge and a 59/09 in the neck. Keeper.
