DOH!!!! Such a tease
Just played my 1991 Signature series tonight! Plays like a hot knife through butter! Sweet!
That's one hella hawt kitchen utensil you've got there my man!
I take it the lampshade knob works better for you on the 5-way switch?
Absolutely! I still got original style knobs in the case.
...Barber burn unit. Got one on eBay after Christmas and really enjoying it. Seems to do great at getting a EJ/David Gilmore lead tone - the butler tube driver into a cranked amp kind of thing
Blondie...HBII, piezo - for grins, today I left the 59/09 off
My first PRS. I'm in love
Killer whale sighting today
Note: the role of Nik’s dog Lotte was played by my dog Manny today No pictures though as he just had a bath and was too busy napping
‘04 Modern Eagle with a 10 stamped on the back of the headstock.
So I just played my Gen 1 SC with #7's again. Flipped to the middle setting on the switch and pulled both volume pots down to about 6 with the gain on the amp at a more than healthy level. Wow, so articulate. Really driven but still clear with that in-between sound from both pickups. I found a new favorite for gain. I didn't expect to get off the bridge pup for rock solos, but this was magical. I gotta remember this setting.
Challenging day today. Time for my favorite cure
Such a beautiful guitar in every way! Looks, feel, woody tone and sustain for days. I always forget how good 53/10s sound, at least in this guitar. Lots of clarity and great harmonic content. This was my first full Braz neck guitar - made me a crackwood addict for life!
I though they only did artist tops on those.
If ever you needed inspiration to get a guitar out to play, this is it!
MDT with gain boost on - fed by a 56 strat. I’m blaming DTR for the bleeding ears.
