Great illustration of the difference between 22 vs. 24 fret guitars! The common way to describe it is that "the neck pickup is not in the same spot." But actually, it's in the same place... and everything else has moved.

You have to look at it with the scale lined-up to illustrate that point properly.

This thread is awesome!!! But...it made me sad. My very first guitar...still kicking myself for selling this one. One of the SW Exclusive SE CU24 in grey/black!

I stayed in touch with the guy I sold it to. He still doesn't want to sell it back to me (yet) he's a great guy and has taken great care of it, plus he gave me his word he would give me the first shot if he ever decides to let it go. So, there is that!

Pretty poor quality control, if you ask me. This is one of the issues with specialization of tasks - sure the single coil is parallel to the edge of the pickguard, but the assembler clearly didn't take into account that it wouldn't be perpendicular to the strings like it should be.
