Awful.
My ears are still burning like hellAwful.
For every forum, there is a critical mass of users where the number of a$$holes becomes too large to make it worth sticking around. We've managed to avoid that number.
We should keep it that way.
I'm on here, rig-talk, Marshall amp forum, Les paul forum and a couple others. Never been on TGP or TDPRI. Those places are a cancer100%
Small enough to get to KNOW people. Gretsch-Talk is that way. TDPRI is huge, but those of us who've been there a long time have developed friendships with some of the other long-timers. GearPage is a melee. I still go there because there's great info, but it's way too large to avoid snark.
I don't one a Gibson/Les Paul so I'm not over there, but I imagine TDPRI, Les Paul Forum, and Gear Page are the largest... simply due to how many of those brands are out there, and for many decades. PRS is still relatively new to the game. Lots of PRSi out there, but to be honest, I see very few on my local playing circuit. Whenever I show up with my DGT somebody always approaches me with "wow!! Is that a PRS???"
Aren't We All?He's only implying...
I Have To Admit..This Made Me Laugh...A Lot.Nothing is stopping noobs and youngbloods from creating their own community. Be the change.
But I tried.Bro...
YOU DINT SAVE ****!!!!
Huh???Never been on TGP
Basically, as in almost any other social circle, new members are welcome if they fit in with the group and get along. As in most social circles, we don't want a big influx of new people who don't want to fit in, want to create drama, etc. The group here is pretty easy to get along with for the most part, so if anyone really wants to fit in, we make it pretty easy.I know there is an argument that as long as the same handful of people show up that it will be worth it.
Now I can die happy, especially with the flames and pelvic thrusts to rock it further. Just tell me those are PRS bagpipes. But this has to be shared when bag pipes and ACDC come up..
To go with the blue Strat you get as a welcome gift!Hell only has modeling amps!
Yeah. Never been on TDRPI or TGP. I almost joined TDPRI to show off my tele once but backed out last minute lolHuh???
I'm with you, but how do us old facts and neckbeard Gary's convince the noobs to do such great things?Nothing is stopping noobs and youngbloods from creating their own community. Be the change.
Well that's REALLY strange, as there's a guy at TGP who is linking to the same YouTube user name videos as you are here.Yeah. Never been on TDRPI or TGP. I almost joined TDPRI to show off my tele once but backed out last minute lol
I've read threads on both but it's been awhile. Seems like they are both trollfests
I haven't been posting her for long, but maybe it is cyclical? Can we do something like a giveaway or a meet up to liven it up? We need a revival (No, this isn't a joke).
Seriously,
How do we grow the forum and attract new members? How to encourage readers to become new members? And more other anything, how do we keep new members active beyond a week or two?
This forum has far less activity than it did when I joined near the end of last year. While I'm only on smaller guitar/music related forums that are growing at a rapid rate. I'm wondering what the issue is here and how we can all work together to fix it.
So someone is using my screen-name and youtube videos? Sounds like someone from here may beimpersonating me, why am I not surprised.... Probably someone I pissed off real goodWell that's REALLY strange, as there's a guy at TGP who is linking to the same YouTube user name videos as you are here.
Don't make me use my magic Spidey powers of IP address searching...
Not sure.I haven't been posting her for long, but maybe it is cyclical?
