The first ziracote PRS guitars

Back in the day when I used to take my wood to Stevensville, I had several guitars built with my ziracote. This was before PRS offered ziracote as a wood choice. This one is also unique as I had it built as a 2 piece neck so the sapwood ran down the middle. I had 2 built this way, but I haven’t seen any others. 🤷🏼





This guitar also has a crazy BRW fretboard, which I supplied.

You sir, are a LEGEND (not that most here did not already know this)! Your collection and the related stories would make a phenomenal book!! Ever thought about putting something like that together? Or a video going through your whole collection? I'd be happy to assist documenting your incredible journey ;~)) Thanks for sharing!!!
 
That's what PRS is all about. Ziricote is a great wood to work with albeit expensive. Very hard and doesn't shrink a whole lot compared to ebony or rosewood. Love that purple!
