Very cool. The ones I got at experience a few years ago fit the C, H, and Archon but I'm one shy...

They look nice, but I suspect they would never actually be put on my amp/cab, since I won't be gigging with them (at least, I can't imagine doing so any time soon - I'd need to join a completely different band). So they would just be put away beside the covers for my other non-gigging equipment.
But maybe I'll get them anyway.

I asked PRS if the Archon and the 2 channel head covers were interchangeable. They said "no," that the Archon was slightly smaller. Did you find the covers to be interchangeable? I have an aftermarket cover that seems to fit either head well.
Also, are they fairly well padded?

I would kick myself if I ever wanted to actually gig or travel with the amp+cab and not have proper protection. Like 11top I hope they are well padded - they look pretty good in the photos.

Interesting. I bought two covers at one of the Experiences. They fit the C and H fine, as if they were made for them. They will work for the Dallas and Original Sewell, but it's a very tight fit, doable in a pinch. They also work for the Archon, but the Velcro strap is not quite as long because the Archon is wider, and everyone knows that wider means more tone. I've been gigging my Archon with the 2-channel cover for months and have no complaints but I will snag an Archon-specific cover just to get he longer strap. With respect to padding, they're very durable and very adequately padded on five sides.
Steve, if you ever decide to scrap the aftermarket cover, I'll buy it back from you :laugh:

Wow. just got my Archon cover and i'll be sending it back. it only has padding on 2 sides and i prefer the old 2-channel covers.
Those look a little different from the original run (the embroidery is much larger) so it could be a different vendor. But if not, then the padding is very good, IMO. It kept my head safe for the past 2 years of gigging.

Hmm, that is disappointing. I was quite chuffed when I read your description about the 2-Channel cover being padded on five sides. I wonder why they didn't do the same here?

Mine arrived on Friday. Finally opened the box yesterday to have a look. They are indeed padded only on the front and back, which is a bit disappointing. They fit well, and otherwise look very nice. I'll keep them, since they are better than other amp covers I have that have no padding, just the "slip cover" material, but still a tad annoyed PRS changed their design for the worse - they usually don't do that...
