I posted a thread in the amp section over the weekend about what a phenomenal tone I'm getting from my 30th CU24, and my DG30 amp these days. I've had the guitar about six months now, and though I've been using it on lots of tracks I've been working on, the more I play it, the more I'm discovering what a phenomenal guitar it is. In fact, I'm getting what I consider my best overall tone ever with this combination.

I absolutely LOVE the way the pickups drive my amps at just the right frequencies (talking overtones here, folks). This is especially great for getting those "edge of distortion" semi-clean tones, and the result is a beautiful tone that sits right in the mix, with clarity in chords, and beauty in single note lines. Everything stays nice and crisp when you lower the volume on the guitar, and the tone control works great.

I don't always use a pull-up sweet switch, but when I do...I use a PRS sweet switch. ;)

The guitar plays like...well...you know the cliche. Handles beautifully, great feel. Looks the business.

You say you need a picture? Here 'tis. Share the love, ladies and gentlemen!

As some of you already know this one's a Wood Library edition with an African Blackwood fretboard and birdseye maple neck.

Interestingly, PRSh did a Reddit AMA a few weeks back and when someone asked him what his spare-no-expense dream build at the moment would be, African blackwood was his fretboard wood of choice. :)

Anyway, the 85/15s are just outstanding. They really just work on this guitar better than anything that's come before.

The 85/15s have really grown on me -- this has quickly become my second favourite 6-stringer, even more so than the P245 (which also has the 85/15s). Mine is purple, of course.

I too love the 85/15's, although my P22 with 57/08's certainly gives it a run for its' money.

Hope you never tire of that one. But if you ever DO.......

All fantastic so far...man, these are all looking so damn fine...keep 'em coming guys!

Loving the yellow and violet ones.
Must admit though - I'm not sure about the binding. Still, stunning guitars!!

It's actually an inlay, not a binding...that's probably what you meant though.

However, that's mere decor. The important thing is that the guitars friggin' rock!

I have nothing to show, but this may have to be my next PRS. I would like to own a guitar with 85-15's
Unfortunately, I must go back to work :(

I don't own one of these but a maple neck version would be great. They arereally.beautiful guitars and I'm just dying to try those pickups I'm happy for all you 30th owners. Maybe I'll have something to post pics of in the future.

I've seen a number of them with stained maple necks so you're in luck.
