Test track spy photos of the incoming offerings

How many of us can really control our G.A.S. when they release the newbies? I understand the plain all mahogany. I just hope the colors are good. I don't know how much seafoam green my stomach will handle. I'm a sensitive musician, you know.....

The Mira /Starla were part of the "mid-line" priced above SEs and below the "core" US line. That photo shows what looks like a Starla on the right and a flat-top(?) Standard 24 (EG?) in the middle. Is that maybe a Mira hidden on the left? I know several people who'd like to see the Standard 24 come back.

I was told today would be the day it goes live on the products page, but nothing yet.

Keep your eyes peeled though.

Interesting, I did not know about a non carved top.
So that is what they called a Standard 24 before?

I should have asked if I could have played those guitars when I was there, and also taken a closer look at that red one.
But I was pretty busy soaking up other stuff while I was there such as playing Paul's personal guitar, and the Grainger prototype bass.

The Standard 24 was an all-mahogany carved-top instrument. The Standard 24 and the Custom 24 were the original production PRS models. Frankie's Clarke's "Casper" is a Standard 24. My first PRS guitar was a natural-finished '95 Standard 24. The Standard 24 became the mid-tier PRS guitar when the Classic Electric 24 (a.k.a. PRS Electric) was introduced in 1988.

The Standards were carved tops. The CE, Standard, and Custom lines were pretty much the same aside from a few differences: CE's lower grade tops and bolt on necks, standards all mahogany, and Customs... well customs were gifts from god himself!

It's kind of scary that PRS would release a USA model without a violin carve (aside from Mira and Starla of course)

It'll be interesting to see what's up when it's released!

sorry, i just had to correct that  no offence intended. Back on the topic, still no sign of a new guitar on the products page. I personally like the non-carved top, it gives you a different PRS, like a breakaway from all the blings, but still has the same quality and plays like a PRS. More like a Junior version of the Custom. I doubt they'd call it a Standard 24 though, since the original model has the violin carve and this one doesn't. Maybe they'd name it like the Mira and Starla?

Whatever it's called, we'll give it a name of our own - as usual. ;)

thou shalt not use the lords name in... AHHH WHO AM I KIDDING!!! GIFT'S FROM PAUL HIMSELF!!!

Well, I was hoping the page would be updated today, as that is what the PNW rep at the Meet & Greet told me.
But...Sunday is not over yet :D

I would not mind if the top on that 24 was flat.
My Gibson SG is flat, kind of adds a little charm to it, but it has nice bevels around the edges, horns, sides, etc.

Lets make Ralph go in and update it then :D
He is the one that told me it would be live the 7th.
Maybe he meant Monday...

From the mouth of Ralph Perrucci himself? Well.. guess I'll start watching the product page.

I love the idea, but the top carve is what ties the USA PRS visuals together. Though I do need a Mira or similar, eventually. And PRS quality is hard to say no to. :D

I'm just hoping that they introduce a P24 Trem along with the other new models!! I'm ordering a Piezo guitar on friday and I'd rather get a P24 Trem than a P22 Trem... I am REALLY digging the 24 fret combo with Pattern Regular!
