Test track spy photos of the incoming offerings

If you've ever read any of the new car mags you've probably seen those spy shots from the track in Germany where the automakers test drive their next year's models. They have them all covered-up looking like F117 stealth fighters or radar confusing ships.

WELLLLL...over at another PRSForums a photo has been leaked!
It shows a few of the new guitars PRS is about to release. Maybe you've heard the whispers about a new intermediate line made in the USA that bridges the price gap between the SEs and USA PRSs.
Hey, I just got a Tremonti SE Custom and so I don't SEE a need for the price bridge...and there is like NO quality gap between the two pricepoints...so I'm not sure WHY they're coming out with a new line. I cant actually see it HELPING PRS at all. If anything it'll hurt the real USA prices/sales.
But, either way...I suppose that's why Paul hasn't asked me to head-up new model production or R&D departments yet lol.

So what have YOU got for us?
What gossip can you share?
Got any spy shots?
Any specs released yet? Any models named? What pups and neck carves will be available? .......................????

I don't think it's April 1st so I think this is real. I think they really are gonna come out with this new line...I just can't for the life of me see WHY!?
I guess it's maybe a bean counting, get a large chunk of market share...business move?

WAIT...I forgot...I know EXACTLY why they're coming out with this new line. they know I've GIVEN UP on trying to get a deserved PRS giftpack so they thought...how can we get him NOW? Hey didn't he say that he JUST bought an SE? I know...let's put out a line, made in the USA that are the same pric-...nahhh...let's really DO him...made in the USA that are CHEAPER than the SEs. ****...let's even call them the Blaren line...and...I know...we'll give them away FREE...to anyone who knows Shane!...but NOT to Shane himself!

I do not think there will be any options, this will keep the price down.

I do not see the three guitars hurting any of the other guitars sales.
Many will still want to be able to pick options.

Since this is an official board I believe whispering and gossiping about something that may or may not be coming out could be inappropriate. I think its best to keep those discussions to all unofficial boards and well if there IS a surprise, well gladly find out all the details on release day here.

An all-mahogany Custom 24 is called a Standard 24 (my first PRS guitar was a Standard 24). PRS discontinued the model a few years ago.

Rumor has it that this new line not only plays and sounds great - but also, there is a button near the input jack and if you press it, frozen yogurt comes out of the jack and inside the case is a plethora of serve yourself toppings. Delicious!

Huh - then why did I get a text from a blocked number that said, "Cut it out!" as soon as I typed PRSF into my browser? As soon as I changed the F to a G, another text arrived that said, "That's better!"

No Violin Curve? It just looks like a Mahogany SE Custom 24... of course it's made in the USA and they crank out UNBELIEVABLE stuff... I'd just miss the Violin Curve WAY too much... it's part of the sexiness!! lol
