So, I have a 2009 Custom 24 with the toggle knob, basically two knobs and a 3-way switch.
I purchased a 57/08 TCI recently and want to change out my original 59/09 neck pickup. The original 59/09 neck pickup has only two conductors; the metal shielded wire that goes to the cable jack, a solder joint from the sheathing of that wire to one of the knobs, and the white wire goes to the 3-way switch I believe.
The new 57/08 pickup I purchased has a total of 4 conductors. Red/blk/wht and what appears to be a shield (braided type) conductor.
I’m lost…. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
