I have a mint 1995 CE 22 with Dragon 1's. They sound good but i am going to sell them separately and try some darker lusher PU's I am loving the Gibson Burst bucker Pro's on my 2012 standard.
They are 4 wire partial split and phase PU's. Alnico V dark and lush sounding. 7.8ohm and 8.2 neck, ohm.

I am thinking minimum of putting in a basic 3 position switch full hum modes.
Or...

Is there some other killer switch for getting single coil channel from the PU's? Would that necessitate capacitors?
This guitar has the original stock, yet faulty, 5 way selector pot Quoted at 200$ to replace (PC board NOS pot from PRS).

Which switch should I buy? I have a 10 top Amber so I think I would like an aged yellowish switch tip; not white or off white.
Any thread with humbucker tapped designs (schematics) that someone could help me with? Or should I just do the 3 position?

There's that "super-switch" (or whatever they call it) that's like a three-way toggle with some additional positions that they use on some Gibson guitars. You might wanna check that out.

This one looks good for the PRS rotary replacement. Has anyone tried this for fit?
Don't want to buy something that physically won't fit.
The electrical options look perfect for a 4 wire Burstbucker configuration.

I wonder if anyone was disappointed with Burstbuckers in a bolt on CE22?
The stock, Dragon 1's, sound chimey and stratty actually. Not much LP horsepower.
Maybe the bolt on contributes to this? (Maple cap / mahogany body is nice quality).
