Sweet Little EG-3 (Incoming)

Shawn once had a killer old EG-3 in Seafoam Green with pearloid plates. I really wanted it but had other priorities when it hit the chopping block. Then another friend of mine (also a PRS guy) told me his desert-island PRS was his EG-3. At that point I started a search for a clean one with 3 Fralin dominos. Easier said than done.

I have been searching, regularly, for the better part of 6 months. These things are becoming a pain in the back-side to find. Especially with 3 Fralin dominos and a crack-free neck joint. Then, last night, this little beauty popped-up on the inter webs. Have you ever seen one with gold hardware? I sure haven't.

It appears to have a regular neck carve, which is a plus. There is some flame on the neck. The aging guard is taking on a cool vintage vibe. It even reminds me (and my wife) of the White Rabbit. All good things. I have to say, I really dig this one and it was worth the wait.

Anyway, she's on her way to live with me now. I'll post better pics when/if it arrives safely. In the mean time, here are photos from the sellers ad.

Cool find Hans, I have an EG II (hsh), I ordered it back in the days and has been in my stable since. I sometimes wish I bought the one with the Fralins also çause they weren't that popular then and now quite rare.

Whew! I wanted one of those domino EGs in the worst way when they were current, but it seemed like way too much money at the time...

I had no idea any of them were ever done with gold hardware. That is so nice!
