Swamp Ash Special Volume Drop

Wondered if anyone else has noted a big volume drop when pulling the tone knob to access the 3 tones on the PRS Swamp Ash SE? Thanks

Hello. I just received this beautiful guitar. It comes from the factory perfectly adjusted. A marvel. However, I have a question: when raising the tone switch, the level decreases. ¿It is normal? Regards

I have noticed this as well so I grabbed my S2 Standard 24 and it does the same thing. These are my only guitars that coil split (I'm a tele guy). I bought the S2 to have a guitar with humbuckers and never really use the coil split. I'm guessing this is just a characteristic of coil splitting?

I'm thinking of doing a mod that will allow me to use every pickup combination other than the 6 that it's currently limited to. Federal Hill?!?! Good to know there's someone here that's so close that can do that. Thanks for the heads up!
