Swamp Ash Special pickup?

Anybody have any experience with the Swamp Ash Special pickups? I have a SAS Treble I'm thinking about putting in an SE and was just curious where they land tone wise? A little birdy told me they may have just been a relabeled existing pup... Any clues to which one would be great too.

Very similar to McCartys...SAS Specials came with Macs in the early days, and switched couple years later...very similar tone wise...IMHO
