Surveillance video catches thieves stealing U-Haul, $40,000 of music equipment

Trevor Hall who was recently touring with SOJA, just had his gear stolen in Washington as well. If I can find a list of the gear, I'll share it with everyone.

There's nothing lower than a thief. In 1981 I was playing with a country singer out of Sedalia, MO, and we had our equipment trailer stolen from a motel parking lot in Baton Rouge, LA. We were incredibly lucky--we had already gone to the venue to set up before we went to the motel, so most of the gear was already onstage when the trailer went missing. The only stuff left in the trailer was our spare set of PA speakers--and my patent-leather stage boots! I hope they gave the thieves terrible corns...The only problem was that we had to ride all the way to the next gig with all four of us with all the gear and suitcases crammed into the van. It wasn't long after that that we got a bus!

Another one in WA. state, but no musical stuff, but their entire belongs were rifled through.
They were moving from Texas to Puyallup, WA.

Any moving van/trailer in a motel parking lot is fair game for these thieves.

Over the past few months there has been a rash of these in my state, same MO, a motel parking lot, or on the street in front of the home they are leaving.
