In anticipation of receiving my 2021 Toy Budget from that infamous government agency ... I have been "bird dogging " Hollowbody availability at dealers that post pictures of inventory..
I favor examples with flamey/stripey tops in the Tri Color ... and I look at the Piezo a little bit, 'cause I really don't want to pop for the additional $400 it commands ! (even though she is the prettiest)
I think that any of the 3 models will be great, but I'm a fool for her stockings ! (the flame veneer that PRS ,by my account uses to manipulate us weak kneed product junkies) ...
It has been difficult to find a Tri Color with good flame ... but recently I have seen a couple (held one in my hands at my local GC) (sigh) ... and
They do not last long !!!
One of my fav's the CandyWater Guys posted a Piezo in Black Gold yesterday . Yes , for her, I'd do the extra $400. Looked tonight ... GONE !!!!
The GC instrument I fondled does not show up in store inventory anymore (but I could do a Recon to see) ... And Moore's had a super stripey Piezo In Black / Gold ...also gone ...
I hate going into a purchasing event, without that ability to walk away ... (like shopping for cars) . Once I am armed ... I don't think I'll last long, if confronted with the " Jessica Rabbit Piezo " ...
