So did you wind up rescuing that amp?

No so far. If I walked in with that amp I'd soon be walking out with that amp, and the door locked behind me. With some justification on her part at the moment.

I still have a Custom 50 head, an HX/DA head and combo, and a CAD Dallas combo to play with.
The Ox Box allows me to use those plus a Mesa TA-15 head as well as all of the old Fender heads I have. Still many sound colors available.
