Well, it's been a really tough week.
The guitar player from one of the bands i sat in with gave me a call on monday. wanted me to play with them tonite at a private function.
i play for free.
he played my studio all nite, i played my 25th anniversary SAS. sounded fabulous.
we had a chance to chat about some songs ... he is a good guy and really easy going.
so, i was able to play my three favourite songs ...
gimme all your lovin' ... man, are there any songs more fun to play than zz top. no.
goin' home ... alvin lee at his best ... the genesis of countless guitar players.
the balltrap ... rod stewart ... listen to this ... primal, visceral rock 'n roll.
anywho, gave me a bump.
