The SEs look great but have never to "spoken" to me like the cores do. Having owned Artists, C24s, MC58s, 408s, etc., the 594 speaks to my former Gibson side. I'm glad Paul decided to take the McCarty "all the way"... though I still occasionally play a MC58 at a gig.
