Stripped 58 and SC58

Hey guys, I'll be taking advantage of the GC sale, and I'm choosing between a Stripped 58 and a SC58. Is the SC a better guitar than the Stripper? I know the SC has binding and the better tops, but as far as sound and playability, does it offer more than the Stripped?

I played an SC a number of times. I had and loved a Stripped. Save the money and get the Stripped.

Sound-wise, no. Playability, no. Bling? Lots.

Unless you like the feel of binding on your Hendrix thumb, with your eyes closed it'll be the same guitar otherwise.

Superb guitars. You certainly wouldn't regret either, but I'd pocket the extra cash too and get the 'Stripper.' Then you can go spend the savings on... more Strippers.
