Hello.
I'm a very proud owner of one of the 35th Anniversary SE Custom 24 which came strung with the standard SE 9's.
Now I like light strings, 9's are the heaviest I will go but I have various non PRS guitars strung with 7's & 8's
For example I have a LP copy fitted with 7's and a Strat copy with 8's. Now with scale length taken into consideration the LP is a little flappy while the Strat feels a little rigid.
With the PRS being in between those two in scale length I wanted to test both 7's and 8's on it BUT while strung with the 9's I'm currently using so as to avoid any change in setup.
So my question is does anybody know what I would need to tune the 9's down to to get the feeling of both 7's and 8's?
Many Thanks.
