String gauge for wing tip tuners

Hi there,
I recently had an unsuccessful attempt to fit a 0.60 gauge low B string to my USA Tremonti Singlecut with wing-tip tuners. However, the string was simply too big to fit in the notch on the tuner.
I have now bought a set of 13-54 strings to try again, but before I waste another set of strings, I wondered if anyone here has any experience of using very heavy gauge strings with the wing-tip tuners and knows what the maximum string size for this type of tuner is?

I've definitely put 10-52s in winged tuners, but can't comment on anything heavier.

Yeah it's a 2001 USA model that I bought 2nd hand so I don't know if they're the original tuners.
