So, a brand new core Paul's Guitar (2018 Experience or newer) is # 2 in my list of PRS gas, and I've obviously seen all the ones on Reverb - and I believe all the US PRS dealers - at least that I could find. I may pull the trigger on one of them, but none are quite that "optimal" piece that truly satisfies, if you know what I mean?!

Additionally, I've Googled and Bing'ed my arse off.

Are there any continental US places/stores the forum insiders know of that I may not? Or have I reached the end of the interwebs? I'm thinking I have.

Maybe PRSh could send me one?

You may want to do some legwork on the phone and call the bigger dealers. Somebody may have one in stock that hasn't made it online yet.

Been looking at all of them on Reverb as well, same overall feeling as yours.
Sweetwater actually has a few not listed there, check them out and see if they do it for you (Edited: if you haven't already done so, which you probably already did re-reading your original post)

Thanks guys, I'll take a look at Washington Music Center. I know there are other little dealers, many without a web presence, but finding them is painful. If anyone else finds one please do let me know.

One thing's for sure, googling for "Paul's Guitar" is a veritable black hole. Even placing the quotes doesn't work as expected. If they had named it "Paul's Signature Guitar" it's probably be a bit easier :D

I have seen the 2 on Sweetwater, I do kind of like the McCarty Sunburst one - so it's a possibility, and I like little bags of candy!

I hopefully have a buyer for my boat but his credit union is taking FOREVER to process the loan. Of course it may fall through, but all my appendages are crossed.

That was the one that looks interesting enough to tempt me too. The black has the advantage of being quite a bit lighter which I really like.
I'm going to be nice and let you get it first, that helps my wallet and closet storage space :D
Brian's Guitars has couple wood library models too but they're probably already on Reverb so you may have seen those.

In order to find the exact amp I wanted, I needed to go to the Boogie site and go through all the listings for their retailers and found something that didn't show up in google search.

So, yeah, do the legwork, go through PRSs list of retailers and check out their sites one by. A few hours of work could result in your ultimately being happier than you would have been for an investment that should last you a lifetime!

PS: Found my amp on Willcutt's site. Check them for PRS if you haven't!

Can you tell us what you’re looking for specifically?
If one of the three from Brian’s wood library run that he has left doesn’t hit you’re sweet spot our tastes must differ. Fire red, copperhead and black gold are all great colors. I have the fire red, maple neck one from that run and it is special.

No, I like all of Brian's, and one of those is probably going to be it. I had my heart set on a copperhead 10 top but they are like purple striped 5 leg unicorns with valid intergalactic passports.

The PRS dealer list has to be looked at by a max 250 mile radius now, and I spent a couple of hours looking from the east coast to Colorado tonight. Tried to be reasonably scientific about it, but no dice.

On another note, why are we almost into 4 days of my boat buyer getting a credit union loan? He's passed several series of questions on from the branch so I'm fairly certain he's legit. This should take an hour, max. Guess I have to blame covid-19.

If and when its done, I plan to buy 2 PRSi and an axe named for a white creamy condiment. Which is better than a white creamy condom. Well I guess that's all based on perspective

Thanks again for the responses, I knew it was likely wishful thinking to find one.

I like that one, too, but I can't get all 3 of the guitars I'm interested in from John. Figure I'll get the best deal getting all from the same shop.

While they don’t have any PG listed currently, Wildwood guitars doesn’t seem to list on auction sites (very often at least). It’s a very good thing they’re local to me but slightly farther than lunch break driving distance away.

Let me know if the boat pic isn't working

And I can't seem to edit the above but from the latest calculations, the boat will translate to 2 Core PRSi, 1 Creamy White Condiment from Poland, 3 various Louis Vuitton's for the wife, screening in of our bedroom deck, new gravel in the driveway and a new chandelier for our dining rm table. All from a 1 year old boat I used 6 times - I found out I don't like the fishing here (we've lived here in N GA for 2 years).

Fishing here in the very very deep mountain lakes involves mostly Spotted Bass, and if you're not an expert at fish finders, they are tough to find and generally require all finesse tactics (if you do find them). Ended up being more work than fun - not to mention my fishing buddy has health issues and launching by myself stinks.

Now there's a sweet lake an hour and a half away, Chickamauga - plentiful 10 lb largemouth. But there are tourneys there every day and the drive is bad. Money better spent on guitars that I can use every day :D

Gah, the buyer's credit union loan application was disapproved - and he had his father co-signing. Thanks COVID-19. Oh well, at least we're all healthy.
