Stop tail bridge studs

Can someone please tell me what size threads the stop tail bridge studs have on the SE models?

am not sure of the size but its metric not imperial - i Think TonePros do a direct locking replacement that would be a good upgrade

I can tell you that Arkansas Music Works has the Raw brass studs for SE models @ $12.99. Just bought some for my SE Zach Myers, can’t beat that deal for genuine PRS brass parts.... you can find them on Reverb!

Thought to give a shout out to John Mann...

His PRS Stop Tail Studs were exactly what my NUG McCarty needed. Took about and hour to replace studs (they rotate freely without string tension), intonate and set pickup height. I preferred the PRS OEM parts, since the MannMade ones are designed to work with MannMade bridges (YMMV). Couple bucks extra, but put the guitar back into factory spec.

John’s stuff is great, high quality for sure - I used his studs in a SE hollowbody and they fit perfectly. Definitely recommended and you’d also be supporting a small business/PRS dealer.

Mann’s are solid brass. Not sure what the SE studs are.

Mann made are the best non locking. Grabs the bridges better than stock studs. Very musical. Drop test it and you’ll hear it sing. Try that with a Tone Pros and it’ll sound dead if you go for the nickel version. Mann made are the way to go. I don’t understand why PRS allowed so much wiggle room between their stock stud and bridges. Raising the action will cause serious lean issues.

Mann’s are solid brass. Not sure what the SE studs are.

Stock SE studs are plated steel, except for those on SE Paul's Guitar.

I polished these studs tops shiny.

I did just order some MannMade polished to try though.
