Stock S2 - Custom Finish - Price?

I'm wondering what PRS might charge for a custom finish job.

For instance: Say I wanted an S2 Mira, stock in pretty much all respects, but with, perhaps, a Makena Blue finish job, such as:

Anyone here have any experience making similar request? Does PRS do that kind of thing?

I suppose the thing to do is have my local PRS dealer ask PRS directly, just wondering if anyone can ballpark an estimate for that kind of work, based on experience.

You would probably have to have it refinished at the PTC (basically the PRS hot-rod and repair shop), I think the kind of finish they use to make the Makena Blue is the V12, whereas the S2 finish is a UV cured... something. I just don't know what (not that it isn't good). But anyways, if you contact the PTC, they'll give you a quote, but I would wager to guess that a complete refin would be at least $500.

Also consider that most S2 tops are not exactly 10-tops, as I understand it. Not that they are ugly or anything, but I doubt you'd get a result comparable to a core line!

The Mira is all mahogany. No flamed maple on top. I don't think Makena blue would look the same over mahogany.
