Hoping everyone's ok over there. I saw 18" of snow reported in Garrett Park, high tides in the bay, lots of wind, power outages, etc. PA to NY to DC....everyone please be safe! Check in if you can.

I just got in from shoveling the first foot of snow and it is still falling pretty hard. 2 foot looks well within reach before it is done. And in case anyone is wondering, no I'm not planning to drive. I just thought I would get started on it...and use it as an excuse for a big breakfast.

+2

A good weekend to hunker down and kick out the jams (nod to the MC)

Thank you all, and ditters to all my neighbors.

I have been instructed by my apartment complex management to stay indoors as much as possible while they clean everything (other than my car/parking space) -- will probably take the trash out and not much more today.

Central NJ here...I think we're definitely going to hit 2' before this is all said and done. Took out all the stinky garbage and changed the litter box yesterday :) Went out around noon for about 30 mins because I wanted to actually be able to open my front door...shoveled a path to the cars. We ain't goin nowhere!

My wife is in baking mode; so far we have chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip muffins, homemade gravy and meatballs for tonight are forthcoming. Dusted off the elliptical in the basement (I usually go to the gym in the AM) but with all this food around I will definitely be hitting the drifts again later...

Stay safe everyone, and stay off the roads. Some some real knuckleheads this AM get stuck on our street and blocked the plows for awhile.

2 hours north of factory...Carroll County Md...at least 2 feet with 4-5 foot drifts...biggest pain was keeping a clear path for the dogs...but had some great homemade pizza...definitely feel for the State guys with the plows, who need to steer around the idiots on the roads.

Here in Southcentral PA (2.5 hours from PRS factory)...we "enjoyed" our largest 1 day snowfall ever recorded...about 31 inches (smashing prior record of 25 inches)...which is a little over our average ANNUAL snowfall total. Hoping my arms/back won't be too sore to play guitar and enjoy football tomorrow after the cleanup today.

MMMMMMMMM, I'm hungry now.

Just saw on Facebook that part of the roof at the PRS factory may have collapsed under the weight of the snow. Anyone got any details? Everyone ok?

I didn't realize we were so close. Sounds like the official Harrisburg total, which is a good match for what I spent 2 1/2 hours shovelling today. I plugged in a guitar once I finished. Probably will again during the ball gams because I don't like listening to commentary very much.

Yup...I'm near H-burg.
Too amped up for the game (and sore) to play guitar right now...maybe later...my CoCo Monster Santana has been calling to me...
