Standard case doesn't fit S2's

So in placing my S2 in a standard case the neck sticks up since the body is thinner..... kinda like putting an SG a LP case.....

Does/will PRS make an actual hardshell case for the thinner S2 series? Or does this not matter. Seems to me the neck get bent back when the case closes.

Hmmm, I have my S2 Studio in a "Vintage" guitar case, same case as my Custom 22, and the neck on the S2 doesn't touch either of the neck supports, but with lid closed the guitar is secure and doesn't move.

That's my concern, when you close the case it bends the neck back down to the supports...

lol, no worries man. Unless you are sitting on the case, there is not enough force to hurt the neck at all. The foam under the body will compress a little, and the neck will lower right onto, or just above the supports. You will be just fine with the “standard” case.

You could put a small pad underneath the guitar to have the neck sit “properly”.
