Hey fellas,
on my brand new SC245 I noticed that I already somehow stained my pickup guards. I used a dry cloth to try to clean them, but for some reason these stains won't come off. Before going ahead and using a wet one with any kind of liquid, I wanted to have your feedback.
Any idea why the stains are so resilient and what to use to get them back to their original splendour?
Thanks! :)

Possibly something like Maas Stainless Sink cleaner, but just a tiny dab on a dry cloth, and wipe with a very, squeezed out damp paper towel and then dry rub with another towel. The cleaner is not a metal removal type, just for stains.

Make sure to go in the direction of the brushing. ACROSS the pups, not vertically...

PRS recommends a couple of metal polishes in the Support section of the PRS website. If memory serves, Blue Magic is one.

I've used Flitz with good success, and Maas metal polish is another. I'm not sure about the stainless steel polish, I've only used the regular Maas polish. A little bit goes a long way.

PRS uses old-school nickel plating (not chrome) because Paul Smith likes it that way. ;)

Hey fellas,Thanks for the many precious replies!! :)

Perhaps I should've mentioned that I'm in Italy and from the online searches I've made, it seems like those products are mainly available in the US... and the shipping expenses end up amounting up to twice the price of the products themselves.
Any suggestions for products easily available in the EU?

Thanks again!

Cheers,

Z
