Sorry, search is not being effective for me. I have an '18 SSH LTD and it is a tone monster. What has changed with the Special since the original run besides switching to the LT pickups?

That’s it. Just the change from MT to LT. I preferred the MT.

Also, the new ones are finished in nitro.

I agree about the pickups, the MTs sounds amazing in that guitar. I think they perfectly match the NF in the middle and the coil taps are fantastic.
