Hey guys,
Since I got my Custom 24, my SE Custom 22 hasn't seen any love. In fact, I leave it back at home when I live in my apartment at college. I think that has to change! There's room for everyone in the PRS family
It's gonna be tough to compare to my beloved CU24. Since I've gotten the CU24 there was absolutely nothing that made me want to come back to the SE. My CU24 simply did everything the 22 did but better.
So my question is, what exactly can I do to make it feel more like my CU24, and sound different enough to be worth switching to?
I'm thinking maybe set it up for 10's (I think it came set up with 9's), adjusting the action a bit, and replacing the pickups.
My CU24 has HFS Treble / Vintage Bass, and I'm not so sure about my SE. I believe the SE is either a 2007 or 2008, I'd have to check but can't right now due to physical location issues...(I'm working in a different State this summer).
Has anyone here done anything with their SE's? What's your experience with changing out stock features?
