I’m curious on how many springs you use on your tremonti trem or whatever trem equipped PRS. I have 4 in now , also do you do anything to keep them quiet. The springs on mine ring out a lot when playing.

Mine came stock with four springs. Feels great as is, and I don't notice any noise from them. There are a bunch of fixes for noisy springs. Just google and find one fix to try.

I had a similar problem with a 2021 Tremonti. I opted for the (4) white springs from FU-Tone. It was better, but not quiet enough for me. I sold that Tremonti and started stocking up on the stoptail variant.

I don't have a Tremonti. But, I wanted to share that I use Floyd Rose Noiseless Springs.

I think all of my trem equipped PRS guitars came with 4 springs in them except my DGT. I believe that has 5 springs in it. It was a dealer special order so that may be one of the things they specified for the build.

I put the heavy duty FU-tone springs in and there is virtually no unwanted noise anymore. With just a little adjusment the 3 springs work perfectly fine.

My '03 Santana and '09 KL 380 have 4. My '20 S2 Studio has either 3 or 4. Let's say 4 and I'll edit if it's 3. Or I'll forget completely. What was that? Why did I stand up and come into this room again? Get off my lawn!
