Do any of you have amplifiers with true spring reverbs that are overly sensitive to being bumped or jarred? I have one that the reverb will crash pretty loudly if the amp is bumped into. Which, is no issue if I am in my music room, alone, practicing......but I have some stuff happening where I may have to play out and things can get a little cramped on some stages. And in the chaos, the sound of a loud, ear drum shattering reverb crash at gigging volumes could be really bad.

Aren't they kinda all like that?

Then again, if the springs are really loose in the tank, that could make for one that's more sensitive.

Boogies put the tank in a sort of insulated pouch in the amp, probably also mitigates the problem a bit.

There's a memory.
My 1st gigging amp ( Many moons ago) ended up with this issue. at first it peeved me a bit but I found whacking It after certain numbers sounded cool.!!! Silly I know but when your belting out some Clash or pistols anything went.!!!:p

The springs in my Boogie will make noise if you crash into the amp, but the combo weighs a ton and the springs are on the button so you have to try pretty hard to get that sound out. Even on a small stage, you should be able to keep your amp out of the traffic zones.

Longer spring tanks sound better, but are more prone to spring rattle.

I've always hated spring reverb, so I never worry about it. Digital rules!!
