Hey everyone, my Cu24 took a fall from its stand the other day, resulting in a small chip at the edge of the minor bout of the headstock and a few dings on the back of the neck. :(

I usually don't mind some cosmetic marks on my guitars, as they just happen over the life of the guitar - but the headstock one just sickens me and the dings on the back of the neck I can feel with my thumb if I'm really thinking about it.

Anyways, looking around this board it seems like these are cosmetically "spot" repairable by the PTC? (Please, please, please). I don't need it perfect, but just enough so they're not obvious and can't be felt on the back on the neck.

So, since I live on the other side of the country, I was wondering what else I could get out of shipping it all the way to PTC.

What have been some interesting mods you guys have had done? Specifically - with the newer 5-way blade. The tone knob just seems to scream at me for a push-pull - coil-tap? in/out phase? heck, stacked volume knobs?

What wiring mod has had the biggest impact on your guitar?

Have at it guys!

Sorry about your incident. I know how you feel. Just nauseating.

On a lighter note. The wiring mod that has had the biggest impact on my guitar is my McCarty singlecut private stock. I changed out the 57/08s for Tremontis. My first attempt at pickup change, and apparently did not go well. The guitar no longer functions. That is the biggest impact.:bawling:
