Some questions about my Modern Eagle1

HI~

My name is Calvin..I have a PRS Modern Eagle 1

I have some questions of this guitar

1. I bought it from guitar center at 2007....but it's more expensive than the other Modern Eagle 1 ..It cost 7300 USD

2. The neck is BRW..but the color is lighter than the other BRW that I have ever see...

3. The guitar sales of guitar center have ever said ：This Modern Eagle 1 is approaching Private Stock..is that true??

(but the price is approaching Private Stock......... )

4.I can show some PIC here

Can any one anser me these question???

Hello,
That's a beautiful instrument you have there. I can't comment on the price, that's between you and GC. Brazilian rosewood can vary in color quite a bit. I've seen pieces of BRW that vary from very, very dark brown to almost yellow in the same piece. I think the quality of the Modern Eagle is as about as close as one can get to Private Stock, without getting a Private Stock. The Modern Eagles may not have the most striking maple tops, but the workmanship, tones, and playability are spectacular. Congrats!

Welcome! Beautiful axe! The BRW may have also dried slightly and lightened over time, I recommend using Fret Doctor to nourish the wood and take it back to it's original colour (assuming it has lightened).

I bought this ME1 that choosen from 5 ME1s in guitar center..and color of the BRW is light color than the othwes in 2007

but it's lightest and have the best sound of these ME1s that I can sure...

I just interesting in how did they decision the difference price of the same ME1s ??

Especially the gap between 4xxx and 7300 USD???

I bought the ME1 from Guitar Centry and chosen form 5 ME1s

but only this one has the highest price(7300 USD)... it's higher than the other ME1 (4XXX USD)in Guitar center.....and only this ME1 is no discount.....

So it's not the problem of full retail price

Oh...here is a further explanation：

When I decide to buy Modern Eagle 1...

I have seen the same ME1 at Sam Ash at the same time ... It' a red ME1 too...and the price is higher than other ME1s in Sam Ash ....

It's just the same circumstance in the two Instruments store...that's what I interesting about the reason is...

Anyway..at last... I chosen the good looking one from Guitar Center....
