Some 513 RIPPING.

He's from France and please don't assume all Europeans like/play fusion . . .
Of course, but Europe and Japan are two of the few places where that type of art is appreciated.
I think you misunderstood me, I'm a fusion fan.

I actually miss this kind of stuff and guitarists here shy away from lead & improv because it's so out of vogue on the US music scene.
Here's a vid I posted up here once before, they are all fabulous players that have learned their Larry Carlton & Al DiMeola chops. Most are from Europe (and other places) and none from here in the US where that style of music was developed.
One of them (Papadopoulos) is even a member of this forum, yes, *PRS CONTENT*

All guitar music is out of vogue on the music scene. If the "music" doesn't consist of someone standing behind a table with giant headphones and a computer playing premade beats and dubs (aka stolen ideas)... then the overwhelming majority doesn't appreciate it.

Lol. A friend of mine introduced me to one of his buddies a few weeks back. Cool guy really. Then I asked him what he did. "Oh, I'm a DJ". My friend later asked me what I thought of the guy. My reply was "I liked him.... until he said he was a DJ" :p

So true & so frustrating, even the guitarists that are working don't do much but strum chords. That's why the fam here at PRSforum that live & breath guitars helps me stay sane and keeps me from jumping off a cliff.

Props to the OP for putting up something that represents the missing half of what modern guitar playing should be.

Heh. Chords are my bread and butter. I'm not a shredder by any means. I just play around and augment chords until I find something cool, then incorporate some alternate picking and possibly some kind of strange time signature.

I wish I was a better lead player because I love metal music, and playing bar chords gets boring as hell. Lately I just write clean stuff.

Back on topic, I completely agree lol.

If you like that fusion stuff then have a look at Richard Lainegard.

He's a fellow swede, a PRS lover and im pretty sure he hangs around here from time to time.
He did a hughes PRS shootout a few years back and demos quite a lot of different models.
