I had posted a link to the unit in another thread, but for some reason search is turned off for me in the General section here and a few other sub forums under the General area.
This is a replica of the wireless device that Angus Young used in AC/DC to achieve his tone sans the wireless part of course.

It will cost ya $400 though for the pedal version.
I am going to think about this one for awhile...

I used to use an old diversity wireless in the studio about 20-25 years ago, not that brand, but it did have a compander circuit that I thought added something to the tone. Now...I didn't always WANT what it added, but that's another story.

I also read some of the 'Tube comments how it did not sound that great at NAMM, but there are better vids on his site which I have not read yet.

I dig Angus's and Malcom's tones they get, one of my favorite groups.
I think I have played Hells Bells on about three different guitars today, as I have all of them out this week.

Yup, Thorn's demo is much better sounding. Just goes to show ya that a pro player like Thorn is the right guy to demo a good product. He really made it sound like it's supposed to sound!

But then, too, he's using the old LP and 335, and running everything through a very high quality hand-wired Suhr Plexi clone that's similar in concept to the HXDA.

In other words, the player is right, the guitars are right, the amp is right, and all that makes a difference!

Before ordering one of these, I think you'd want to play one through your own amps, because you might find that it works great with a Plexi but not so well through one of your other amps. ;)
