Soapbar II pups--are mine fake?

I recently bought an SE Soapbar II, and the mounting screw heads are actually larger than the pole pieces. So large, in fact, that if I raise the adjacent pole pieces they contact the mounting screw heads. Further, these Screw heads are taller than other P90 mounting screws I’ve seen, and because they rest on top of the pole pieces, they are in the way of my strings when picking and bending. (I get the nasty sound of the string hitting)
This does not seem like a situation that PRS would allow normally, so I’m wondering if I have fake pickups, if there was an interim time when proper screws were unavailable, or what. However, I have inspected the electronics cavity and removed the neck pickup, and find absolutely no indication that this guitar was modified after it left the factory. FYI, the metal base of the pup has a semicircle notch in one end.
Do I have legitimate PRS pickups? Has the design of the PRS SE soapbar pickup changed over the years? Are the current soapbar pickups the same as what I have?

Gonna need pics! I can say that my Soapy 2 has screws that are large enough to get in the way of the pole pieces. they don't hit the strings however.

Pics? Well that's easier said than done! I just tried and got stumped at step 1, creating an "album." My return period for the axe expires soon, so I actually don't have time to figure out how to post pictures. Sorry!

If you've got screw heads that, like mine, are larger, then I know I'm not the only one, which is comforting! I read that PRS uses Duncan P-90's of some type, which is surprising (and unconfirmed). Are there different pups that PRS has used over the years, or have they always been the same? And if they've evolved, are they different today than they were at the time of the Soapbar II?

This just in... I just googled some pics and holy cow, these screws look exactly like mine!

I guess that answers the question of whether they're fake or not. I'd still like to know if there would be any difference in tone between mine and the current soaps, because some days I love these things and some days... not so much!
